Accident

Saturday around 12:30pm I was rear ended on Groom Road in Baker. Let me tell you I was pissed. It was just me and Madilyn in the car. We weren't hurt thank goodness. The man behind us was not paying attention. I was slowing down for some cars in front of me that were turning and all of a sudden BAM he hit me. There was not much damage to my back bumper but I will need to be replaced. There was more damage to his car. The kicker is he could not provide INSURANCE. Image that! I would like to put a plug in for ONSTAR. They rock! It was so nice to push one button and have the police notified. I will never drive another vehicle without it.

New Puppy

My niece has a precious new Basset Hound puppy. The puppy's name is Ariel.

3rd ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Well not only did my air go out at home (fixed now) but when I got to work this morning the air is out here. I work inside for a reason - air condition. Today is my half day so at least I leave at noon. I will be going to hang out at Scrapbook & co. I hope my bad luck does not follow me there.

First Day of 4th Grade

Madilyn was up and ready for her first day of 4th grade before I knew it. No complaining to get out of bed - how long will this last? She started her first day of 4th grade at Copper Mill in Zachary. This year she had to walk to the end of the street and catch the bus by the stop sign. I am totally against this. The four children that are picked up on our street live within two house of each other. I believe the bus could come down the street and pick up at one house rather having the children walk up the street 8 houses. Hell, I grew up on a dead end gravel road almost a mile long and I got door pickup! Here are some pics of her morning walk and getting on the bus.
