Christmas Morning

Madilyn wanted her bathroom re-decorated for Christmas this year in Zebra. She is sitting on one of the rugs for her new bathroom. Even though Santa is not what Santa use to be (she is a non-believer now)  in our house he still visited her leaving special presents under the tree.

This is her new shower curtan that she picked out on Black Friday that she insisted I get while she was with me.

New Vera accessories of course!

New Decorated Bathroom! Still have some extra special decorations to hang on the walls!

Christmas Eve Festivities

Every Christmas Eve my in-laws, my mom & stepdad and sometimes others get together for a Christmas celebration. This year we added an event to the agenda. ROCKBAND! It was hilarious to see everyone trying to play the drums, guitars and / or sing.

Brooke was actually very good on the drums.

Madilyn and Brooke got the cutest gingerbread man aprons from their granny to make cookies in. By the end of the cookie decorating Brooke definitely needed her apron.

Ryan said the hell with eating sprinkles on the cookies they are good straight out of the jar. Needless to say I didn't stop him b/c Brooke was going home with her mommy and daddy that night.

Holiday Pics

Saturday morning Willie and I took Madilyn and Evan to Bass Pro to get their picture taken with Santa. While we were there I was able to get some cute pics in front of their huge Christmas tree. I wish I could fit a tree that big in my living room.

HO HO HO

HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS! I just love hearing that phrase coming from Santa. Karen, Paula and I went to a crop in New Orleans this past weekend and there was a special visit from Santa. We even had our pictures taken with him.

Charlene had a cute two page Christmas layout for us to complete to put our Santa pics on. You get so many goodies at this crop. I have still have to take a pic of my Christmas centerpiece I received.

Thanksgiving Pics

Started the day of turkey eatin' in Baton Rouge at Willie's cousins house. I got a chance to sit down and go over the sale papers for my Black Friday shopping adventure.

Once we left BR we headed to Vickii and Cliff's for our next stuffin'. Cliff roasted his first hog and Vickii baked her first turkey. Both were delicious!

Willie thought Christmas day was the only family picture day of the year but I proved him wrong!

Thanks to Paula Dean and a little bit of Vickii the turkey was so good that I had to have two servings of it.

HALLOWEEN PICS

Here are some pics from Halloween night. Madilyn was a Pink Lady with a little SASS (zebra high heels)!
There is a group of us that gather at my sister-in-laws house to trick r treat every year.

Brooke (niece) as Scooby Doo. Colton and Cayden (friends) as Cowboys. They didn't have to look to hard for a cowboy costume. They are already true little cowboys. They love going to rodeos.

Madilyn with Brooke and Anna (butterfly). Anna would refused to look at the camera all night long.

Madilyn with Emmy (bride of frankenstein) and Kati (m&m).

Madilyn with Grace (pirate). I just noticed that Grace put on Madilyn's zebra heels for the pic.

Boston and Blair have the cutest costumes every year. I always make them stop and take a picture for me. His frankenstien bag has little green hanging legs on it. TOO CUTE!

Madilyn's Homecoming Parade

Here are some pics of Madilyn on her homecoming float for Copper Mill Elementary in Zachary a couple of Friday's ago. For the past four years we have had the most awesome float for Homecoming thanks to a mom that donates her trailer, barn, and coordinates all the decorations.

KITS GALORE: NEW CROP = NEW FRIENDS

Last week I posted I was going to a crop in Jefferson, LA to setup my kit booth and crop. Well my friend Heather and I did. We had a wonderful time. If you read my previous post it has all the information on the crop. The next two crops are November 13th and December 11th. I got to meet a great group of ladies who know how to host a crop. Lunch was homemade (huge) meatballs and pasta. Real homemade roast beef poboys was on the menu for supper. There was a kitchen full of drinks and snacks. My favorite was the Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Spice COOKIES. I might have had more than my share but don't tell anyone. They were to die for. ALL OF THIS WAS INCLUDED IN THE CROP FEE. How awesome is that? This all day crop is definitely a MUST to put on your to do list. I want to thank Lisa, Charlene, Connie and all the other ladies for making sure Heather and I felt very welcomed. Below are some pics of the GOODIE everyone received from Lisa just for attending the crop. Everyone even received a door prize in addition to the goodie. AND THERE's MORE - Everyone got to make a darlin' grungeboard flower that was glimmer misted. There was a Halloween costume contest that some of the ladies participated in. For all of you LSU fans - there is a big flat screen TV in the crop room so you can watch the game and scrapbook at the same time. There is also a Michael's and Starbucks within a couple of miles. So if you run out of scrapping supplies or need a caffeine boost it's right around the corner.

When they passed out the goodies Heather and I thought we were suppose to pick one of the halloween cutouts but then we found out that the whole thing was the goodie. How COOL is that! I'm using it on my desk at work and then will use it as my center piece on Halloween for Trick or Treat.

These ladies were a HOOT! I can't wait to see what is in store for next month!
If you would like to attend one of their crops just let me know and I can give you all the contact information.
I  would also like to thank all the ladies that purchased kits from KITS GALORE this past weekend. I appreciate your business and looking forward to seeing you soon.
