Last night the stands at Tiger Park were full with little girls watching some of their softball idols as LSU played against the National Pro Fast Pitch team. LSU was winning at the bottom of the 7th inning 1-0. But the NPF came back and got a few lucky breaks by walking some runs in and won 4-1. It was a great game and wonderful to watch all these little girls see the BIG girls play.

Madilyn played on the Zachary Blue Angels tournament team this past weekend. It was a lot of fun but freakin' HOT!!!!!!!! I don't know how these girls do it. I about died sitting in the shade in front of a fan. Here are a few pics!

BEACH VACATION 2011

 Everyone in the ocean but me and Vickii. We are not much on dirty water. We only spent 2 hours at the beach the entire 5 days. There were not too many waves at the beach and the resort's Lazy River was by far better than the beach (just my opinion)!

Hallway and elevator surfing! Since the two older girls wanted to wonder around the building they got the job of babysitting. Anna wanted to be pulled around on her boogie board since she didn't get much use of it at the beach. Madilyn and Grace didn't seem to mind. This gave them a chance to check out all the boys that were staying at the resort for a Little League Series game.

I definitely recommend staying at THE CARIBE RESORT in Orange Beach, Al. It has something for every age. We are not the biggest beach people but love going to the beach. This way we had plenty of things to do at the resort and we could go to the beach when we wanted. They have a trolley service that brings you to the beach whenever you call. Willie and I plan on going back in October for an adult only weekend just to sit in the Lazy River. Needless to say the front side of my body got a little more sun than the back. It was hard to lay on my stomach, float and drink at the same time.

DIRT DIVA's

Madilyn's softball team this year is the DIRT DIVA's. She has been playing on 1st base, 3rd base, catching and pitching. Here are a few pics:
