Second WIN

Madilyn had her second game last night. They won 3-2! Yippee! She got hit by a pitch when she was batting. It left a big bruise/knot and the imprint of the stitching on the ball right above her left elbow. She was a big girl though and only cried a little. She did very good catching last night also.

First Game of the Season

Madilyn's softball team, The Pink Panthers, won their first game last night (8-7). She is the catcher this year. This is a new position for her and she did wonderfully last night. She normally plays third or short stop. I'm glad she is trying something new but I am also scared. I don't like the fact that she might get hit by the bat. I will post some pics of her later on this week. We have three games this week so I will have plenty pics to share.

School's Out

School is out. AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! No more homework.

Mother's Day / Crawfish Boil

These two events go hand and hand. This would be my first official crawfish of the season. I had three pounds a few weeks ago but that was just a teaser. This was a chance to eat until I could eat no more. I would hate to know how many pounds I put away. I had a very relaxing Mother's Day. My mom and mother-in-law were their to share the day. It's nice we get a day to sit back and enjoy the privilege we have to be mother's. I thank God everyday for my precious (but sassy) little girl. What can I expect she is just like me. But I do believe every girl should have a little spunk in them.

A Day At Tiger Park

Oh What A Thrill

A couple of weekends ago we went to Zachary's Annual ZFEST carnival. Madilyn played a few games (that cost a fortune) and won a few prizes (that were not worth the money I spent for the game) and road some rides. I think her favorite ride was the Drop Zone. The look on her face when the ride dropped several feet very fast was definitely priceless. All in all it was a great time. The weather was beautiful this year.
