These two events go hand and hand. This would be my first official crawfish of the season. I had three pounds a few weeks ago but that was just a teaser. This was a chance to eat until I could eat no more. I would hate to know how many pounds I put away. I had a very relaxing Mother's Day. My mom and mother-in-law were their to share the day. It's nice we get a day to sit back and enjoy the privilege we have to be mother's. I thank God everyday for my precious (but sassy) little girl. What can I expect she is just like me. But I do believe every girl should have a little spunk in them.

Oh What A Thrill
A couple of weekends ago we went to Zachary's Annual ZFEST carnival. Madilyn played a few games (that cost a fortune) and won a few prizes (that were not worth the money I spent for the game) and road some rides. I think her favorite ride was the Drop Zone. The look on her face when the ride dropped several feet very fast was definitely priceless. All in all it was a great time. The weather was beautiful this year.

LSU SOFTBALL
Madilyn has been playing softball for the last three years. This year we decided to surprise her with LSU Softball season tickets. We have had so much fun going to the games. If you have a little one that plays or enjoys watching softball going to a LSU game is a must. It's only $5 to get a bleacher seat (with backs on them). Even if you don't have a little one it is still a must see. These girls are so good. Who knows maybe one day I will see my little one out there on that field.

INSURANCE
I just received a phone call my from car insurance company ALLSTATE informing me that my rates will be going up upon renewal courtesy of the State of Louisiana. The state has raised the liability limits and uninsured motorists liability limits which in turn raise the rates of my insurance. I already have full coverage on both vehicles and uninsured. Now keep in mind I have had NO claims to my insurance policy. I understand requiring drivers to keep a minimum coverage but to keep raising those limits and the cost of insurance only makes it worse. How are the ones barely paying it now going to continue? THEY WON'T. So that will only make things worse in the long run. There will be more uninsured motorists on the roads. Wake up Louisiana! Ok- I think I am done for now until I get my bill in and want to BITCH some more.
