Okay you just read how I won the mini laptop. Well now on to more great winning news. I also won a trip to the Simply Inspired event hosted by Simply Scrappin in Lafayette this October. My wonderful friend Melanie also won the chance to attend this event. I can't say winning this was easy as writing out the $30 check for the raffle to win the laptop. I actually had to work for this one. It was a scavenger hunt and we had to find the item in our scrapbook stash and be the first to the front of the room with the item. 50 items were called and I made it to the front for 8 items. Melanie made it to the front with 6 items. When the race was over the tickets were placed in a basket and two were drawn. Melanie's number was drawn first. I was so excited for her. One - because she won and Second - because I knew I couldn't let her go by herself that I would just have to suck it up and pay to go. LOL! Then the second number was drawn and I really screamed then. So we are on our way to Lafayette in October to meet several wonderful scrapbooking teachers - Teresa Collins, Margie Aslett, Jenni Bowlin, Layle Koncar, Debby Schuh and the wonderful magnificent TERI DAVIS!!!
We are THE LUCKIEST chicks!! I can't wait to go to Simply Inspired, and I get to go with YOU!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!! We are going to have so much stinkin fun!!!! LOVE YA!!
